EYE OF RA - Introduction

Over an immense time period of almost five thousand years, certain members of the Egyptian ruling elite undertook archaeological research into their obscure origins, and in doing so made the most remarkable discoveries. They uncovered original and archaic documents - hidden in a secret chamber buried beneath a statue of the god Thoth in the temple complex of Hermopolis - that revealed not only their divine right to the kingship of Egypt, but also irrefutable evidence that the kings of Egypt were indeed direct descendants of a race of gods that had once fallen from the heavens in the mysterious object known to them as the 'Eye of Ra'.

Each time these startling documents came to light they became the catalyst for revolutionary upheaval in ancient Egypt - as in the 5th Dynasty, the 12th and most famously in the 18th Dynasty when King Akhenaten introduced the worship of the Aten Disk - but when the dust settled the documents were once again concealed in a secret place, only to be rediscovered centuries later to exert their astonishing influence on mankind's past and destiny.

This is an exploration of those archaic texts - and the kings and princes who found them - and the massive impact those secret texts were to have on ancient Egypt.

Powerful and persuasive evidence is revealed that these manuscripts bearing the words of the gods are still with us today, buried in a secret location while modern archaeologists search feverishly for them in the wrong site.
This investigation into one of the most enigmatic symbols known to man - the Eye of Ra - reveals many astonishing connections between ancient Egyptian myths and biblical narrative. Much of what we read in the Bible had its origins in the ancient Egyptian religious culture: virgin births leading to claims of divine rights to the kingdoms of heaven and earth were commonplace in Egypt two-thousand years before the birth of Christ: the new god Jahwa of the Old Testament was not exclusive to the Israelites, he had been acknowledged by the Egyptians for centuries; the entire story of the Exodus with the parting of the seas by Moses, the words of a god written down on stone tablets... all in fact took place thousands of years before the Israelites left Egypt on the so-called Exodus; and that which came after: the mysterious Ark of the Tabernacle, biblical chariots of fire and flying cherubim, all had their origins in the intriguing ancient Egyptian symbol, the Eye of Ra. Other great religions have not escaped the influence of the Eye of Ra, even the cultic center of Islamic worship - the Kabaa at Mecca - is shown to be connected to this mysterious object.

The power of one-sixty-fourth may not be important to me and you, however it was of vital importance to the ancient Egyptians, for it was the veritable key to life itself, the magical key that in a precise mathematical formula unlocked the secrets of both an unknown universe and the obscure origins of mankind. That same formula also dramatically revealed the mechanical or biological processor unit that had been responsible for carrying that magical mathematical formula through the dark and unknown abyss of deepest space.

By no coincidence, it is that exact same magical mathematical formula - the principle of the one-sixty-fourth - which has allowed modern geneticists to finally unravel the complex secrets of DNA - the building blocks of all life forms. When the one-sixty-fourth principle was applied to the genetic code it was as if the entire soul of the universe had suddenly been exposed, for here was the key to simply everything. Overnight the geneticist became the new god: healer, savior and the creator of life. Through the dramatic advances in our understanding of genetics brought about by cracking the one-sixty-fourth code these geneticists are now capable of influencing life and death in our universe like never before. We are able to manipulate the development of cells and embryos, change their sexes or proportions, even their way of thinking; what killed us before will not much longer exist; it will be possible in a few years to recreate an entire human organ - in situ - to replace its failing counterpart; we will be able to fully embrace the concept of immortality by repeatedly recreating ourselves in our exact same image, even to the extent of passing a memory gene down to our clone who will then in turn carry that same memory gene into the great forever of immortality. In fact soon we will be able to live forever. In fact soon we will become a race of gods, perfect of body and perfect of mind.

Sound familiar?

Of course it does, it is nothing less than the ancient Egyptian formula for immortality. They too knew the principle of the one-sixty-fouth when applied to the workings of the universe, they knew it but unfortunately they failed to fully comprehend it. What they failed to grasp, we are just starting to put our fingers around.

The ancient Egyptians were absolutely convinced that life could not have reached this planet in a cosmic accident, so convinced that their entire religious matrix was dominated by the concept that they were descended from a biological form or force that had arrived on this planet in an intended event. They viewed the event as the arrival of eight elements - four bearing male characteristics and four bearing female - which had emerged from the primeval watery abyss known as 'Nu'.

Many modern geneticists too are now convinced that life could not have arrived on our planet in an accidental or haphazard fashion, because the logical possibilities of those various and essential biological building blocks surviving a journey through space are absolute nil; the chances of all the separate elements being present at the same time in a single point of the vast universe are less than absolute nil, unless they were contained within some sort of hermetically sealed encapsulated form... in other words as an intended event.

It is that intended event that this book addresses.

Although the ancient Egyptians were able to conceptualize the one-sixty-fourth formula for immortality - which is what modern genetic research is all about - they never quite got behind the mathematics, instead generating a massive quasi-concept of what they thought they knew, a concept we now call the ancient Egyptian 'Book of the Dead'.

However it is not that, it is the 'Book of Life'. If today we can grasp it.

The 'Book of the Dead' is a much maligned and misunderstood volume that has always been the subject of intense discussion and interpretation, a huge and largely repetitive work that is offered up to us today by modern archaeologists and Egyptologists as a spiritual and magical journey into the underworld by the souls of ancient Egyptians seeking immortality and redemption through dogmatic adherence to a weird ritualistic tradition that would supposedly ensure their rightful places amongst the gods in heaven.
This modern view of the 'Book of the Dead' is an entirely simplistic - when not almost childish - reading and interpretation of this archaic volume; for the very first copy of this most ancient of books consisted of only one single chapter, a chapter that had been buried under a statue of the god Thoth in Hermopolis in pre-dynastic times and later unearthed during the Pyramid age by a son - Prince Hordedef - of King Menkaure, one of the most famous pyramid builders.

It is this single slim volume that subsequently went on to lay the entire foundation for the massive and overpowering work that we now know today as the 'Book of the Dead'. When the original slim volume was unearthed, the priesthood of the day could read it, although they could not understand it, for it was communicating a message that had been lost by the Egyptians some thousands of years before in the remote and primeval past... that fact however did not diminish the power of the words they could read but not understand, for the volume contained the words of the gods, just as did the tablets of Moses. So that slim volume was subsequently taken by the uninformed priesthood and embellished over a period of hundreds of years, constantly being added to by what amounts to nothing more than meaningless gibberish, until the final massive work was achieved as a representation of what happened to ancient Egyptians when they died. It became their security for the unknown future of death.

Regardless of the small amount of data contained in that first slim chapter of the 'Book of the Dead' its impact was and is monumental, and the clue to its overwhelming significance today is that when this archaic part of the 'Book of the Dead' was found it was originally titled the 'one-sixty-fourth chapter'.
That simple mathematical formula is all powerful and pervasive in ancient Egypt, the Eye of Ra - the greatest symbol in a civilization that lasted for as much as five thousand years when not ten thousand - is itself the essential element in this magical mystery of the archaic one-sixty-fourth formula, the separate parts of the Eye coming together using this principle - in exactly the same way as the genetic code does, providing a mathematical code for an astonishingly ancient machine.

Similarly the largely ignored creation myths of the ancient Egyptians have locked within them the cosmic genetic blueprints of who we are today, these myths very likely contain the original DNA of our beginning. This may well be a concept that many find hard to comprehend - however it seems to be obvious that the closer we come to a true understanding of genetics then the closer we seem to come to the ancient Egyptian's understanding of what they called the 'first time' - that these archaic texts could possibly have a genetic biological code written within them which contain the essential building blocks of life. The mathematics are certainly the same. Ultimately perhaps we are not yet mature enough - as a race - to accept the mathematics, instead retreating behind false dogma and safe religion to protect ourselves from the uncertainties of uncertainty.

Though having said that, certain religious organizations have in recent years shown an extraordinary interest in ancient Egyptian religious beliefs and traditions... as if they know something we don't know but the ancient Egyptians did. The Mormon Church in particular has invested vast sums of money and resources into Egyptology over the last ten years, especially where that research concerns concepts of immortality, ritualized burial or the afterlife. They even seem to have grasped the ancient Egyptian belief that the name of a person was every bit as important as that person, and to know the name of a person who had passed on to the afterlife was considered to be the keeper of the soul of that deceased human. Hence the Mormon Church has set itself the monumental task of attempting to collect the name of every single person that ever lived on this planet in the sincere belief that all these collected souls will be saved and serve the Mormon Church in the afterlife. codex

It is inconceivable that we could be alone in this vast abyss, not because logic dictates that there must be someone else out there, no it is stronger than that. It is inconceivable because we just couldn't bear it if someone wasn't out there looking down on us with the same 'star-ache' with which we look up. In that endless black void we can't be perfectly alone or there would be no religion, not then and not now. All religion dictates that there is someone out there, call him God or what you will, and all those religions are probably right... He is out there somewhere, the problem is that you probably would not like to meet him, or her.

This is the story of the most important event in the history of mankind, a series of earth shattering events that actually took place at the dawn of written history, when man and god stood face to face for the first time. It begins with a journey through the Dynastic ages of Egypt, leading us to the so-called 'heretic' king, Akhenaten, and his sudden and mysterious disappearance from the world stage, followed by the strange behaviour of the tribes of Israel and the even stranger behaviour of their new god, Jahwa. It ends with mankind's first dated contact with the gods. That date was the 26 October some five to ten thousand years before the birth of Christ.
